GeoCo Sdn Bhd was established in 2008 as a specialist contractor in ground engineering and structural repair. We are registered with the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) at Grade G7, the highest grade, which allows us to take on projects of any value.
Our work covers slope stabilisation, earth retaining structures, foundation works, structural strengthening and demolition. Since 2008 we have completed more than 100 projects, including soil nail slopes, rock bolting, micropile foundations and retaining walls for developers, consultants, contractors and public bodies across Malaysia.
We are also the company behind EC Geoblock, an internationally patented precast retaining wall system that is now used on roads, housing developments and riverbanks.
Founder and Managing Director
Ir. Loke Yan Ho
Ir. Loke Yan Ho founded GeoCo in 2008 after almost two decades in geotechnical contracting, including serving as Managing Director of a specialist ground engineering company from 1996 to 2014. He holds a Diploma from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in engineering from Universiti Putra Malaysia.
With three decades of experience in slope works, retaining structures and foundations, he leads the design review of every GeoCo project and is the inventor of the EC Geoblock system. He also gives back to the profession as an evaluation panellist for university final year projects and as a sponsor of geotechnical graduate awards.
